Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s ‘The Cardboard Box’ by Derham Groves

Written, printed letterpress, and hand bound by Derham (the Black Jack Press). The severed ear was purchased at a $2 shop and attached to the front cover, made of recycled cardboard and painted by means of a gel press. The A3- sized broadside is folded and slid inside a flap made by folding up the back cover, held in place with a letterpress printed band of tracing paper, and then placed inside a letterpress printed Manila envelope addressed to the “wrong” Miss Cushing. Edition of 16 copies only.
